Named one of the ASC’s Rising Stars in Cinematography, Julia recently wrapped on VOICEMAILS FOR ISABELLE (Netflix) and THE DREADFUL. Her diverse feature film work has seen multiple theatrical releases and major festival premieres. ABRAHAM’S BOYS (Shudder) just released on streaming after a wide theatrical run. In 2023, both SCRAMBLED and THE WRATH OF BECKY had their world premieres at SXSW. LUCKY was also a SXSW premiere. Multiple other narrative projects she has shot have shown at prestigious genre festivals including SITGES, FANTASTIC FEST, FANTASIA, OVERLOOK and more. Her commercial work has aired during the Super Bowl and across broadcast and streamers nationwide. Her music videos have been featured across major outlets including Billboard, VEVO and Rolling Stone.

Julia holds an MFA in cinematography from UCLA and is a member of the International Cinematographer’s Guild.
