Julia Swain is a cinematographer based in Los Angeles known for her emotion-driven imagery that consistently seeks to portray the human experience. From narrative features and shorts, to music videos and commercials, Swain has shot for an array of clients including National Geographic, MTV, Samsung, Coca-Cola and ARRI. Swain holds an MFA from UCLA's School of Theater, Film and Television. Most recently, she just wrapped shooting her sixth feature film, LUCKY, directed by Natasha Kermani and starring Brea Grant. She is a proud member of the International Collective of Female Cinematographers (ICFC).
